Quest Style Start

So - what does everyone think of the quest style start?
Did everyone follow directions and earn the free Plus for 2 days, the free reinforcement (Rat) and the extra resources?

That part of it caught me by surprise. I was watching my son do his first last night and I told him - I wouldn't upgrade a wheat field yet, I'm not going to do that - but suddenly he got a free day of Plus - so I changed my mind and decided I would follow directions!!

I'm making progress, though there are still many in my immediate area that are all ready larger in pop.

I tried it out and had a little fun with it.

Don't worry too much about pop, it will come. Concentrate on getting your resource fields producing and your basic infrastructure.

It's not that I'm worried, I'm really not. Actually I just marvel at how quickly some players can get their pops up so quickly. We all start with same amount of resources and relative to our selection, we all grow at the same basic rate. So how do some of these players jump to a pop of 50 in a few hours?!? Just amazes me.

I have all my fields updated all ready and working on level 2 now. I haven't completed much on my village infrastructure yet, that's next.

So ... how's everyone else doing?

I am 2 away from haveing all my fields to 1 but I only have to get my barracks to start making troops:)

Barracks are on my agenda for today too.

While waiting for my "army" to arrive, I upgraded my main building, and ran out of resources to do the upgrades on the outside. Now I am waiting on resources to finish the next part of the quest. Just so used to upgrading inside and outside as a roman.

Awaiting that "Massive" army of 1. I think they got the idea from the Army commercials. A Rat is an army of one!

I'm nearly finished upgrading my main building then I'll start on my barracks too. But resource shortages keep happening. The good thing is, as I complete a quest - I get a reward! Maybe I should pant like a dog to the bell!!

I like the quests. I am waiting for my barracks to build.

I hate waiting on resources... can't wait till I'm making 3000 each an hour!!! (The beginning seems soooo slow.) or even more with oasis!! How I love them!

ah same ive been sitting here trying to do somehitng productive on this account
